How to Fix the Linksys BEFW11S4 Router
So I’m stuck in the stone age with this dinosaur of a router, because frankly, finances are at an all time low. Every so often, the stupid thing gets “stuck” and won’t do anything so I have to recycle the power, essentially rebooting it, and then I can resume my usual web surfing. Now if I lived in the era of Windows 98, this would be part of my everyday annoyances, but we’re past that (thankfully) and something has to be done. The problem is with the latest firmware version 1.52.02. I found that if you downgrade the firmware to 1.50.14, problem is solved! I know, it sounds dumb, but just do it. So here’s the file, and happy surfing!
